No human will read what you write here. It will not be stored. Any technical record is permanently deleted within days.
This is not small print. It is the whole point. BB Hope was built for people carrying things they may not be ready to say to another person. The privacy of what you write is not a feature — it is the foundation.
Dear Hope — what happens to your letter
When you write to Dear Hope, your letter is sent to the Anthropic API — the same technology that powers many AI tools — which generates a response in the voice of Dear Hope. That is the full extent of what happens to it.
Anthropic retains messages for a period of up to seven days for safety and abuse monitoring purposes, after which they are permanently deleted. Your letter is never used to train AI models. No person at BB Hope reads what you write. No person at Anthropic reads what you write.
There is no account. There is no archive on our side. Once your letter has been sent and you have received a response, it exists nowhere we can access.
This website
BB Hope does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or analytics that identify you as an individual. Standard server logs may record basic technical information — the type of device, the time of a visit — but nothing that connects to your identity or to what you wrote.
If you purchase a guide from the knowledge base, your payment is processed by a third-party provider. BB Hope does not store your payment details. The email address used for delivery is held only as long as necessary to fulfil your order.
A plain commitment
This site was built by someone who has been on the other side of needing a private place to put something heavy. The privacy here is personal, not just policy. It will not change without clear notice.
